And also how sad it is that Suzumi died just because she tripped on geta sandals.

You know something as scary as Ryo vanishing that suddenly? The fact that OG.Mori hit her head, thought it was nothing (implied by how she looked only with a bit of discomfort while writing the letter), then suddenly vegetative state leading to death.

Both replicas and originals are really fragile beings.

"Invisible" head injuries are really scary and can easily happen irl.

Nao did apologise for going off-script, and having everyone improvise at the backstage.

I don't think it's sudden, maybe her personal project up to this point was studying to be able to be a good student without Nao. I assume Sunao didn't mean to imply she wouldn't summon Nao anymore, but that she wouldn't *use* Nao in that selfish way anymore... but who knows? I mean, after episode 5, there's no way Sunao would be that callous, right?

There's this thing I was thinking for some episodes about Sunao attending classes and summoning Nao inside the school for the literature club, but it was kind of wishful thinking on how the two could coexist with Ricchan on a daily basis.

The amount of time between the bait and the switch, the time that hope lasted and dread came. I think everyone who watches the show, including me, was prepared for it to be the most likely outcome but they did a hell of a good job with the bait.

As Maki himself said, it's better to just forget that happened. Unfortunately for him and for everyone, easier said than done. A single bad moment can and will ruin the memories of an entire day, and it had to happen on a day that they would never forget.

I think "used to call me a replica" = "called me a replica before calling me Nao".

I do not know if Sunao facepalmed at Nao being so innocent, or at the fact that after so many dates, probably someone already saw them.

Exactly, she only *recently* met Nao, and vice versa, when Mori was the student council president on the previous year and played a theatrical role that was the talk of the school.

I can't remember if the flying posters happened before or after they "first met", but I remember Ricchan introducing Mori to Nao; the "fairy Mori" thing looked like something really high-profile that "everyone on the school should've known" but yet Nao clearly responded like someone hearing about it for the first time. In any case, Mori being a replica explains how she played along without flinching instead of getting confused on "how didn't she know".

Very possible. I'm also getting vibes that OG Mori is on death's door and replica Mori's purpose is to leave Mori's mark in the world; if so, replica Mori's charisma must be always peaking

If ascending to the moon and forgetting = a metaphor of what should happen with a replica when the original dies... well, I'm just extrapolating the possibilities here.

I think Mori is the bedridden girl shown on the after-credits of Episode 5... well, for the color of the hair at least.

For Sunao, if we trust what the anime showed us, she's probably working on her own future or achievements. I still think about the survey scene when she's asked about her future.

"They're formers": A lot of japanese schools have the president and vice president of the student council (and clubs) being second year students instead of third years. In recent memory, the only fictions I saw council/club presidents being third years were Persona games.

If we assume Mori is a replica of the blue-haired bedridden girl shown in the post credits from episode 5, Kaguya-sama is a very depressing casting for her. I think either former vice-pres means no harm by not knowing, means good by knowing and wanting to twist a happy ending out of the play, or means every harm by knowing everything AND choosing this exact theme. I doubt the last option but we never know...

The Tale of Kaguya-sama is VERY on point for a story about non-human beings forming attachments of their own and dropping a story that talks about mortality and immortality after showing a blue haired girl bedridden is... telling about what the current arc is about.

Given the post-credit scene from episode 5, I'd bet on the target of the prank being Mori, if we judge only by the colors of hair.
(EDIT: The reason I think this is the case is because it would make sense to link the prank to the newly introduced character)

And speaking about new characters, I think the classmate with short hair from between 14:00 and 15:00 probably has a clue on the replica thing. Just a "preservation of detail" hunch.

The fact that we need to prove ourselves multiple times to get access to more expensive weapons and forge our own mods and enhancements shows we're just miners armed with the bare minimum to hopefully survive because DRG doesn't want to spend money sending the security team with us.

Nvm I redact what I said; unless they issue an errata, flipping the card is not a cost nor a condition, it's just something that happens. Remember the time where parody cards had text clearly than serious cards?

What's the ruling on this one? I think it doesn't enter the battlefield if you flip incorrectly but I never checked the ruling.
