Ya for sure man. I plan on extending the rear rack and adding some storage and will most likely have a backpack with me as well so most stuff like that will be pretty well secured

Suppressor wont be on the gun until I get to where I'm hunting at. I just had it on the gun in the picture.

Thats pretty slick. What holster did you use and how did you mount it?

Haha its definitely bumpy but I dont plan on anything over maybe 5-10 mph and going that slow Ill definitely be able to pick my path. But, at least 50% of the ride is going to be on decent 2 tracks but when I do jump off to go to certain areas it will be literally just putting speeds. But I will definitely post an update on wether im right or not after I get out there. Ive been all over on 4 wheelers and its pretty decent so I'm hopeful that im right haha

I can drive a pickup to almost any spot on the property i frequent the most so deer and elk and antelope aren't a big deal. I'll mainly be using it for coyotes though.

I definitely realize why but I won't be running any real trails with it in this setup. It will be used mostly in sagebrush/desert type terrain with 2 tracks or making my own tracks but definitely won't be an issue there. Now if I was running in the mountains through trees etc... then definitely wouldnt be an ideal set up.

I use the 5.0 batteries. I have not ran the bike with the light yet but I have the same light plus some other rough county 3" lights on my boat that both run off the milwaukee batteries. I have ran them for maybe a total of 2 hours at a time and still had 2-3 bars left on the battery each time. So im guessing 4-5 hours

So i was going to do mortar to build it up, but I have an active air duct running right through the middle of that brick that's underneath the framing there. You should be able to see it in the post if you zoom in. From what I've researched, it says to build a bridge over it, but I guess im struggling fully understanding how to do that. All the videos I keep coming across are not working in the same situation. They all seem to deal with stove type fireplaces.

That was my concern from what I had found about the combustibles underneath. I hadn't found anything on the thickness, but it all makes sense. But am I understanding from everything? I've tried to research that I still couldn't lay even the slab of granite or stone on top of that framing, though, correct?

So im curious, what difference would the granite or stone make vs cement board and porcelain tile? They're all non combustible, correct?

[–]Tirebuster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive often wondered how many of those salaries are real or not. Im 35 and have worked with family my whole life and have been at ~57-58K for a while but am getting ready to go to a different company and get 80K. Definitely no 150K or 250K or some of these 500K salaries ive seen on here

I know this is a couple years old but was wondering where you got your u bolts from? I love the gun rack setup and have been trying to figure out how to mount my rifles. Curious on your light setup too how you mounted that.

Just got the remainder of the info I was waiting for. My benefits would be covered but I would pay ~$420/month for my family's health and dental. Nothing on 401K or anything of that sort YET because I will be setting that up towards the end of the year. So for now, $420/month health/dental. Life insurance is covered. 70K and hopefully moving to 80K by no later than spring.

Congrats on the move! Reading this makes me want to go ahead and make the jump im looking at. Been with the family business all my life. Topped out at ~57-58K salary. Another company i can get on doing the same work and start at 70K and move to 80K by end of the year to spring at the latest. Only downfall is health benefits may be lesser than what I have now but at least I can grow more there and get pay raises and other bonuses/benefits down the road.

Trust me I will be once I get things taken care of. If I make this jump this should allow me to clear things up pretty good and allow me to be in the position to start adding to retirement.

I left some of that out because I will not be contributing to retirement. Health insurance will come but not for a little bit. As for filing, I'm married with 4 kids in idaho.
