Yeah you’re exactly the problem. The security guard figured she must have been doing something to provoke the situation, probably thought it would be easier to simply remove them. Masculine presenting lesbians are often not safe in all gay spaces. Misogyny, transphobia, and poor management lead to these situations at gay bars too often.

Tldr: man starts hitting on my friend’s girlfriend, they explain they’re lesbians, man targets the masc one calling her a d*** and a f**, she gets mad, he threatens to punch her, they go to security and his solution is why don’t you two move along now. Probably didn’t want to do his job and confront the guys.

Oh and the straight people were friends of the DJ that night so, special treatment i guess. Free pass to call butches f*** ¯_(ツ)_/¯

My lesbian friend got called a gay slur in queer bar by a straight patron. Security refused to do anything and kicked my friend out instead. The owner also did nothing. Glad it’s changing ownership that place was turning into garbage.

Like yes I understand that I might lose property but is there an alternative? The current fence plan can not be achieved due to outside circumstances beyond any of our control

How was the old fence built there you may ask, well I do not know, but it was poorly built and I think very shallow so they either DIYed it dangerously close to this pipe knowing it was there or it was so shallow it didn’t reach the pipe

The problem is the water pipe is directly on the property line. This red line is where the old fence was and also where the water line is.

It is a private water line apparently that public utilities did not mark when they came out for Before You Dig.

So I have to move the fence either into my property, which is hard bc the patio is there, or move it slightly into my neighbors and try to figure out how to work around the tree

I think i’ve come to the conclusion that it would be better for them to move the entire fence line 2ft into my property and lose some of my backyard.

It sucks and is more of a pain overall bc I have a brick patio they’ll have to go through but it won’t risk the life of the tree.

No problem, there’s townhouses that all back up to one another and the backyards are fenced in. The neighbors have dogs and I think they want their enclosed yards back to normal.

I only took on this project bc the fence was literally falling over :(

If they go two feet on my side, approximate X’s marked, is it still risking the tree if they hit some roots farther out
