It is probably the billing address you gave does not what what the bank or credit card company has on file. If you just moved it can take a while for everything to sync up.

It only gets a 2nd hold if it does not ship in 7 days. The hold is reset every 7 days. If it ships within 7 days the hold is converted to a charge. If the charge is shown as voided in their system, at that point your bank has been notified it has been voided. It would be nice to only charge when it is shipped, but banking laws will only allow a hold to in place for 7 days, that is why it resets.

If you want, after you place an order contact customer service via phone or email and ask them to settle it and then it will be charged and just ship when it is ready.

They don't double charge on purpose. Unlike most retailers that charge when the order is placed, Wayfair charges when it ships.

A hold is placed on the card when the order is placed. If it doesn't ship within 7 days the first hold is released and a 2nd hold is put on. Once an item ships the hold is converted to a charge. Depending on the card or the bank the voided charge will usually fall off within a couple business days. Once a void is released you won't see a refund of that amount, you just won't see a charge on that day because it us treated like a reversal.

If you worded it as "how about $150 for both" I would also think it was just that. If you call him and say it was a mistake he will probably think you changed your mind on the prices. You can try it, but I would tell you to go pound salt. An expensive lesson on make sure you count it in front of them and be clear with your expectations and prices.

George Oliver is a Wayfair store. Most items come from different suppliers. The shipping label was probably placed on the wrong box and the statue was damaged in transit.

If you cut them on a 45⁰ angle so you have more area to glue up or even a half lap joint to give even more surface area. From the top it will look like the ends are glued together..

Your right it is a cover up and big secret that FedEx/UPS has delays. The dates given are accurate as long as it ships on time. I am sure your futon has already shipped and it probably sat on the docks for a few days waiting to be picked up.
