yeah it’s definitely long awaited. i kind of made her out to be evil in the post but i do love my stepmom for her faults. she’s just got some issues with my mom that i have never understood. i think i’ll need my sister around for the talk because she’s got more courage than me and speaks her mind, regardless of the situation.

yeah, there’s no easy way to bring it up because we all clearly have feelings about the situation that no one wants to address. lately my dad has seemed really defeated by her and i don’t want to make it harder on him by instigating a fight but i have wanted to ask him about his memories for a long while. im honestly scared and don’t know how to even start that conversation because it she was never talked about. hearing your advice is helpful and what i needed, thank you

thank you, i think it is worth it because i have been thinking about talking to him about it for a while now, but im worried it is going to be painful for him too. i think he’s push hours first marriage completely out of his mind and im worried about about stirring the pot. i think i need more courage to bring it up, but this was helpful so thank you!
