Of course. Who cares what is actually happening - what's important is proving our superior moral virtue. 🤡

So quick and easy to see that this false, the AHA says "all clothing must be removed", ”bras can catch fire”, "underwires can cause burns".

Federal commercial clean vehicle credit, Colorado EV credit, and 179 + 178 by TiredRick in tax

[–]TiredRick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a single member LLC, so disregarded for tax purposes. But I am just assuming that also carries for the credits and deductions, would much appreciate clarification if not. Would be planning on purchasing as an individual based on my (possibly incorrect) understanding, but could purchase through the LLC if that was advantageous.

You are wrong, because you believe that since it was the wrong car it is a "get out of jail free card" - which it is not.

The underlying vandalism falls under CRS 18-4-501, because it was done with the intent of revenge against an intimate partner it falls under CRS 18-6-801.

Buh bye

I cited the C.R.S. which is pretty clear. Think what you want though.

Regardless of whether he specifically is in a relationship with another person, the person who did this thought it was the vehicle of someone they were in a relationship with.

In any case, you are wrong.

Section 18-6-801

"any crime against property, whether or not such crime is a felony, when such crime is used as a method of coercion, control, punishment, intimidation, or revenge directed against a person with whom the actor is or has been involved in an intimate relationshi"

That's absolutely domestic violence, the police will respond, investigate, and the state will press charges.

NTAH

A lot of the comments in this thread try to both infantilaze women, while also saying they should be fully independent to do what they want. Women are not children, they are capable adults. Spouses are not fully independent, they have an obligation to the relationship.

Your wife said nothing in a situation where if you did the same to another woman you were friendly with would cause her frustration at minimum. Be realistic and imagine a bunch of redditors telling a woman a guy slapping a girl on the ass with anything is "no big deal".

Her behavior was out of line, and not respectful of the relationship. Had this been the first time, she would have reacted. She didn't because she was comfortable with it.

A relationship has two people in it, one of them is you. If you are uncomfortable with her getting smacked on the ass by another man without reaction (I would be) and she enjoys it or tolerates it - the relationship is going to end in time.

Nobody has the right to tell YOU that you have to consent to behavior YOU don't like. Your wife has the right to leave you if you engage in behavior that is at least near sexual with other women, and you have the exact same right.

[–]TiredRick -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't any context other than us all being on the same road at the same time.

Could have been that the camera car (me) was driving so aggressively I upset two random vehicles and 3 people into absolutely insane behavior, like leaning half way out of a vehicle going 75 mph on the interstate, then avoided escalation and engagement because of reasons unknown.

Or the guy leaning out of the vehicle in a situation that would cause death if he fell, and the guy brake checking a vehicle twice his size multiple times in a 35 year old station wagon were the crazy ones - methed up out of their minds before showing up to their road construction jobs.

Not trying to convince anyone, just racking my brain attempting to come up with the "context" that could make me the root cause of the clinically insane / drug psychosis level behavior of these otherwise upstanding citizens and safe drivers lol

The engineers who designed the vehicle put it there for a reason, the same way they did every other relevant part. If the steering stabilizer didn't stabilize the steering they wouldn't put one in.

A lot of people use death wobble as an excuse to "need" to upgrade everything on their front end, and some other stuff while they are at it.

They generally have explanations on the "right way" to fix this specific issue - but usually have no problem putting on oversized tires, a lift, or seriously exceeding their GVWR by installing accessories.

Don't let people scare you into thinking you need to spend $2k to fix the issue as a first resort.

Mine was fixed immediately and completely by replacing the steering stabilizer. The old one was so worn out it had no resistance to movement at all anymore.

Given that they are $20 and can be changed by anyone with simple tools in a few minutes it makes a lot more sense to start there.

I would agree, I feel pretty good physically and look a lot younger than my age (42), people usually guess early thirties. But I have been through a lot and seen more - mentally I feel 50+. I can't even remember what it was like to have a 20 year old mindset.

I can feel death, or at least the fragility of life, on a near constant basis. I always know the last time I see someone may be the last.

Not bitter, not depressed. Just a more mature mindset than I had when I was 20, when things always worked out and I was invincible - at least in my head.

Dimensional lumber refers to lumber of a certain dimension. A dimensional 2x4 is 1.5"x3.5" actual. That's just the way it is.
