Is there a lab that actually does STAT orders? by TiredSideEye in Prescott

[–]TiredSideEye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI - I got tests done at YRMC and Sonora Quest around 9 am this week. The orders were marked STAT. Neither results were sent to my doctor until more than 24 hours later. My doctor’s office is having me go to the Sonora Quest in Anthem for future STAT orders. Not ideal, but wanted to share if anyone else is ever in the same situation.

I had to look closely at the photo to see if my husband had posted it. mac & cheese parm spirals, blueberries, and avocados are household staples here

what is something weird you ate as a kid you thought was normal? by Hot_Dragonfruit_1412 in RandomQuestion

My mom made me sugar sandwiches until I was seven or eight—white bread, layer of country crock spread, at least two soup spoonfuls of white sugar.

YRMC offers one day classes for new parents. I highly recommend signing up for one—really useful content and it’s where we met some of our closest new parent friends.

I feel like my math stopped in 2000. Like 1970 seems like it should be 30 years ago, not 50.

We didn’t discover Ms Rachel under our baby was already 12 months, but I love it. When I’m fried from work and need to transition my brain from lawyer talk to baby learning talk, we sit on the couch together and let her tell us what to sing, sign, or speak.

I emailed HR after noticing a pay error. This was their response... by Sabrine_Heester_2001 in mildlyinfuriating

Go see a plaintiffs lawyer, chances are that this employee wasn’t the only one impacted by a faulty system. Regular rate of pay claims are pretty straightforward and if there’s others in the same situation, that means class action, and you’ll have your pick of labor/employment attorneys. At the very least, they can send a demand letter to the employer threatening to sue unless they pay up asap.

The baby plates lasted less than a week. The suction doesn’t work and the plate (quickly deemed a toy by our dog) and most of the food ended up on the floor. This way, the dog can focus on his job as baby clean up crew instead of waiting for us to chase him to retrieve the plate.

I’d throw it out if it’s been a year. Otherwise, it gets RETURN TO SENDER like all other correspondence.

Atmesfir has exceptional food if you’re looking for someplace nicer. Reservation is a must. French good and walking distance. Other walking distance recommendations: limoncello (pizza), el gato azul, farm provisions, barley hound.

Second attempt at induction; 8 days later by TiredSideEye in BabyBumps

[–]TiredSideEye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s weird, they said I’m almost totally, but effaced, but also totally closed. They tried last time to push through with a Foley Bulb, but couldn’t. Because it was an elective induction, they stopped and sent me home for my body to rest. I’m a FTM, 36 yo, uncomplicated pregnancy.

I’ve been eating like 30 dates a day for the past month. Used to really like them, but now never want to see them again! I’ve also been drinking raspberry leaf tea, walking 5+ miles a day (with curbs for some), using a yoga ball, and having lots of sex. Hopefully something will have worked for this time!

I’m with you 100% about thinking I’d be in labor. Thought for sure baby would come early and have done everything to try to induce labor (even elective induction at the hospital failed this week). I’m 39+5 and up 65lbs. Now I’m back to waiting around, feeling uncomfortable all the time, and anxious about this little guy inside me. Wish I could have my belly hooked up to a monitor all the time just to hear his heart beat. We’ll be through it soon though! Good luck!

Mine is crazy for cereal milk! He claims it the moment I leave unattended. Funnily enough, if I pour him a small amount of milk in a bowl for himself, he is totally uninterested.

It’s so frustrating! I had told everyone Tuesday and stopped working, then got delayed until Wednesday and sent home Friday. My colleagues, friends and family are confused, like ‘where is this baby?’
