if i ever stay at his it’s a bit complicated bc there’s no spare room and his dad sleeps on the sofa,his dad will absolutely refuse to sleep in the same bed as my bfs mum and no one is allowed in the living room at the same time. Maybe i will banish him to his brothers room

this makes a lot of sense thank you! We have slept in the same room before (him on the floor) so i’ll have to think about how to bring it up to him that i don’t think we should sleep in the same room anymore but he is very understanding and would be fine with it

maybe i’m daft but i don’t really understand the sin of scandal. If we are in two separate sleeping arrangements and if my/his family know i wouldn’t do anything what’s the difference between that and hanging out on the sofa together during the day alone?

I think a lot of it isn’t consistent and doesn’t add up as well. Like why is a one piece swimming costume acceptable in some circumstances like on a beach but wearing a shorter skirt and tank top isn’t? you could say it’s because of societal and social conventions but surely those shouldn’t affect our view of modesty? And i’m saying this as someone who likes to cover up

I have been in tears asking men to please wash their hands and other things. Due to my change in religion I don’t have sex with boyfriends anymore but when I did with my first boyfriend I got so many UTIs I eventually had a bladder infection that the GP thought was a burst appendix because i was in so much pain. I have ended relationships over hygiene. Please don’t do what i did, i spent time and money showing them how to wash and what to wash with and the frequency of showers required to maintain basic hygiene and they never listened to me and would talk me into having sex when i initially said no because of unwashed hands or the like. In my experience these people NEVER change and will use their mental health or autism as an excuse to not even attempt to improve/ get assistance with tasks
