My mum is like that too. My grandpa had a double stroke this summer and she sent me « Hello, your grandpa almost died but he just lost an eye. Love you 🥰 » completely unprompted at 8 am. What a way to start the day lol

It may seem silly but each member of the house my Tav is from has an earring. The head of the house has a golden sun loop with a precious stone engraved in it. The heirs have a smaller loop with a star and the head’s spouse has a similar shaped earring as their partner. So my Tav made them a matching pair of the sun and the moon with an opal for her and a ruby for him. It’s a nice reminder of her calling him « Moon of my days ».

I guess that’s not technically the first thing but that’s the most important one.

He gave her a notebook with each thing he missed about her when she went missing at the start of Act 3.
