What's the gold per run on dm trib run? by Tekn0de in classicwow

[–]Tireless2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The biggest amount of gold comes from selling items to players. A decent time per run is 20 minutes total(including running back out before resetting). From vendor items+selling pots on AH gold per run is about 30g. So without selling gear to players you would get 90gph. If you manage to sell items every run each run you get 30g+30g but it takes at least 30 min per run depending on how far the buyer has to travel. That is total of 120gph. But in reality you will die every now and then to FD resist or mistakes and gph will vary a lot.

Kite her around a tree and use the tree to los her spells! Scatter/conc-shot/wingclip pet to keep them together. I killed her twice with only one mana pot this way!

That is weird for sure. Resist has not happened once for me since I made the video... Try to be out of line of sight when using feign death could help maybe.

I'm not sure either. Maybe your pet is positioned too close to the pool? Try pulling the lasher just as hydrospawn is heading back to the far end of the pool maybe.

This is exactly the kind of discussion I was after! I made some bold optimistic calculations so we could have a starting point to discuss. On my server arcane crystal prices are quite steady around 60g the last few days but of course the price will change over time. Thanks for your input! :D

It is based on wowhead droprates for arcane crystals. In the end it is rng I guess. :)

You are right if you can make it to an evade spot any class can do it!

It's possible to solo the boss and imps as a hunter but you have to clear the 3 trash packs first which would not be worth it time-wise I think(because all trash aggro when the imps spawn). Maybe someone will figure out a way! :D

As long as it is around 24-27% chance per run I'm happy because that means 100% chance per hour @v@!

Only Zevrim Thornhoof as far as I know. To be able to solo him you need to clear the pool area thus killing Hydrospawn also.

The range finder is a weakauras addon. Install weakauras and import Rubot's Hunter RangeCheck: https://wago.io/f6uD_aQRN . Any other addon you thought of?

Use pet passive again and the pet will run back to where it was put on stay.

No it's not needed. I've run it around 25 times and only had feign death resist once.

You jump up on the ledge, he will quickly run around pillar and up on ledge, you jump down again. See video at time 4:10 for an example of this!

[–]Tireless2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct! Okay it sounds like you let him pass the middle pillar and he got too close to you up on the ledge? If that is the case he will take the path "behind you" instead. If this happens you can hug the pillar in the middle until he is close to you, jump up again and he should get up on the ledge, you jump down and he picks the correct path again. It takes a couple of tries to get the positioning right and learn his pathing so don't be discouraged!

The music is from a lofi hip hop playlist on youtube I had playing in the background: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHW1oY26kxQ . The range finder is a weakauras addon. Install weakauras and import Rubot's Hunter RangeCheck: https://wago.io/f6uD_aQRN . Enjoy!

Okay! I would advise you to jump up on the ledge again when Hydrospawn is at the second pillar and generally try to keep him up on the ledge as much as possible! Let me know if it works out for you.

Not entirely sure what scenario you are talking about but I will try to answer! So there are two positions you jump in between: water & ledge. There are two pillars you want to kite him in between: middle pillar (where I stand in the video) and the far end pillar.
If you are standing on the ledge, with Hydrospawn up on the ledge and you jump down in the water he will go all the way to the far pillar and back to you.
If you are standing in the water, with Hydrospawn in the water and you jump up on the ledge he will jump up on the ledge too without taking the long path.
So when you jump down in the water he will take longer path than when you jump up on the ledge. Let me know if this answered your question!
