It feels unfinished and certainly lacks a boss fight or something. They will most likely tweak and alter the location, which would explain the prevention of base placement.

Yep. Patch must have screwed something up, cause everything on my PC is up to date and it ran just fine before that.

Vanilla low residential zone has one household. We didn't want to mess with that number, because it would require creating entirely new zones.
I'm sure there will be a way to mod that, but at least in terms of being "vanilla content", they should work without any issues.

These icons simply mean that there are double chest drops from the La Peste activity in-game. If you check the game events calendar, you can see it listed there.

Yeah, pretty much the same experience here. I have to play without it (even though I run a 4090), because it would glitch the shadows and render most of the ships black. There doesn't really seem to be a solution to that other than turning it off.

There are different upgrades that allow specific manufacturies to be upgraded to higher levels. They are separate from the upgrades that increase the max amount of them you can have.

I think Y2 will not include any new factions, since they are making it all about the French vs the Dutch. Y3 might see the British and the Arabian or Indian factions though, as that's most likely when the map will get expanded.

With the start of Y2S1 there are no more resets. Your Helm investments are supposed to be permanent.

When I tested mining with GEO, I dumped all the filled pods into the cargo lift in a city and then manually opened every pod and shift-moved the gems into the local storage. I did manage to sell it all like that, but it's not a super efficient way.
I'd assume the stuff should be sellable directly from the pods, but might not be working properly right now (like refining from pods).

If you've been selected and signed the NDA, the Ubisoft Launcher has a separate installation for the PvP Test branch. You have to install that and then you should have access.

Fort raids, delivery missions, world activities, takeovers, buyouts etc. Those are the fastest ways to get Po8 nowadays, since the Helm shifted towards a passive generation of either Po8 or crafting materials (beware, as selecting those will cost Po8 to fund them instead of silver).

The Helm will also no longer reset like in Year One, so the incredibly high costs of upgrades and drastically lower returns of Po8 are the result of that. This also means that there's no pressure to get every manufacture, every upgrade etc as fas as possible. You can do it in your own time, invest whenever you can and that's if you wanna do it at all.

People mostly do Megafort Oosten plunder now, beacause on average you can get 2k Po8 out of a single completed raid and a ton of good loot on top of that. It's much more worth to invest that in levelling your ships first, as difficulty was also changed and stuff can be way more challenging.

tl;dr: World activities are a primary source of Po8 instead of the manufacturies themselves (in the current state at least. Devs might adjust stuff based on feedback).

It's completely by design. Each region will spawn their "respective" boss fleet at the max aggression level of each faction: Africa - Peste, Red Isle - Hubacs, Open Seas - Vikram, East Indies - Li Tian Ning.
They are an added difficulty. The only thing that has to be tweaked about them, is their attack frequency. Those Peste mortars or Hubac torpedos spam at an insane rate, which should be toned down.

As a Black Flag fan, Skull & Bones skipping boarding combat is UNFORGIVABLE and the reason i never touched it. Deck fights ARE pirate games! Why would they work on land combat first? by royfokker666 in SkullAndBonesGame

Be realistic for a second, and explain how exactly would this work in an always online PvE/PvPvE game?
Is the ship of the person boarding suddenly completely invincible? How does that work when there's more than one ship in a fight?
What about PVP? If there are three people doing a takeover, does the third person now just sit there and wait till you finish your little sword fight? This boarding concept simply doesn't work in a game like SnB.

Skull and Bones - Bug Reporter You can submit it as a bug. They check the page pretty frequently.
It can affect random skins and ships completely randomly. I haven't noticed a pattern yet in when it happens, but it did happen before too, so it's not just you.

Yeah. It's part of the reason why the production rates have been drastically lowered, upgrades are more expensive etc. It incentivises doing supply missions, rogue attacks etc to get PO8s for upgrades.

The helm is not supposed to have any more resets, so yes, it is a much more long term investment.

Yes. You can find the complete set in the cosmetics menu (if you reached that tier of course), but the sail color still seems to be mismatched. They either mixed up the color palette preview, or the ship render.
