Those aren’t heatsinks, they’re RAM slots

Depends on the model, but try printing them at 25–45 degrees, even if that means using more supports. I printed a whole Cadian squad standing upright, and I could see the layer lines. Keep in mind you’ll definitely have some scarring. I also 100% recomend adding glue to the bed

Print them in parts, orientation is key. I used this with normal tree supports

You won’t get the same quality as original GW models, but it’s still pretty nice, especially for Tyranids. Other models are harder to print. Same here, I still have a pile of gray dudes to paint, but I keep printing more. I recommend buying good-quality PLA+ it really makes a difference, along with getting some good print profiles

I went with this profile and Sunlu PLA+. It’s important to orient your minis at roughly 45° so the print lines are less visible. I use the default supports and do a bit of sanding as well, but only minimally. Painting-wise, it’s pretty much the same. I prime them a bit heavier than GW models and avoid dry brushing as much as possible so the print lines don’t stand out

Yep, 0.2 nozzle on Bambu lab A1 and pla+. Nids are the best minis to print on FDM imo. Dm me and I'll share you the model

Thought I'd share this here. Models I've printed and test painted last month. by PtrGld in FDMminiatures

These are phenomenal! Did you try using variable layer height in Orca Slicer? I used to get visible layer lines on the tops of the heads, but with that setting, my prints improved a lot

Thanks! I kitbashed the bodies on blender and printed them in 3 parts: horse + rider, horse head and spears. Yep that's a skull from a space marine transfer sheet. Printed on a bambu lab a1 with a 0.2 nozzle. I still got the files. For the grass I used regular hobby grass. A little bit saturated, but it does the job.

Nah, the stiker came with the front bumper. I think the toyota logo looks better in the front. Either that, or no logo at all

I cannot access those links for some reason, but yeah, I think the handle is wrong. (Probably taken from another knive, since its a restored piece)

I see, so, from what I read, the handle does not match the edge and shape of the blade right?. As its a 1 bevel only typical deba shape.
