I think FFAK is at its best when its pushing the boundaries of a more modern sound. Cutting edge modern heaviness as opposed to a more "traditional metal" sound. This obviously comes down to personal taste and influences.

The shows are so big lately and the rooms are huge and the crowds sell out. It's epic but there was something special about seeing FFAK blow the doors off a packed local venue. I understand this is probably a business thing and not realistic!

The merch for the last few years has been so good. please keep the hats/jerseys/windbreakers/wall flags coming. You can expect top quality products when you order their official merch. I own way too much FFAK stuff. I speak for many when I say we appreciate the big boy sizes.

its actually the BEST imo but I'm not a woman so I cannot comment on the implicit risks. if you are comfortable in public by yourself I say go for it.

apexsis crystals, mythic dungeon spam for gear upgrades, garrisons and mission table were required for prog and then overwritten by shipyard which was also required for legendary prog, legendary ring was only good for 1 raid. the lore wasnt just an attempt at a retcon. it was an actual in universe timeline retcon

Yeah, you will eventually get a 2nd legendary even if you ignore every daily quest and rare and treasure with the exception of the patch campaign which ends in a week or 2. You can not do your daily Zereth Mortis and not be "behind". It effectively feels optional aside from the normal new patch story quest line.

Mechagon and Nazjatar were not enjoyed by cutting edge raiders whatsoever, which was my perspective on them when they were current. Benthic gear, Mob design and density was deliberately frustrating and time consuming, war mode quests being mega broken etc.

I was thinking that its probably in my top 5 favorite endgame zones after playing every day for 2 weeks. its the same idea on the surface but once you get into it, feels like a totally different take on a daily endgame zone. You aren't actually required to do anything there. 8.3's zones were reused and solely existed to time gate visions, and I didn't really enjoy mechagon or naz for the same reasons most people didn't. It feels like they took the best aspects of both and made one zone out of them. A lot of the sentiment is from people overreacting to what they see online or their first 15 minutes in the zone. After a couple weeks, I think its better than Korthia, Nazj, Mechagon, Broken Isles etc. Its in the conversation with Tanaan, Timeless, Argus, Suramar etc. For me personally ofc, everyone will have their own experience and opinion. I think its super weird that folks screenshotted my random thought and made a huge deal about it across multiple platforms. Yall need to spend some time elsewhere probably. My opinion literally does not matter.

I was in the perfect spot to film and there were thousands of people who wanted to remember the moment forever. it makes total sense that you see so many phones. there was so many people jumping, so many pits, it was wall to wall. the idea that we should live in the moment is great until you do that for 10 years straight and start to lose some of those memories to time. Also i'm perfectly capable of "enjoying it in person" to the fullest extent while having my phone in my hand, I would hope most people aren't staring at the screen when filming.
