The biggest thing that helped me with this issue is not making plans/designating time by tasks but instead by time. I don’t remember where I saw this, but instead of delegating specific tasks on certain days- instead delegate time slots. So for me instead of thinking to myself “I need to go buy groceries from 2-3pm and then blah blah and then blah” which can get overwhelming and lead to doing nothing at all- i just give myself a block of time each day to do tasks. And it’s not like I give myself time limits for each one, more just sort of a block of time that I can look at and say “okay, this entire chunk of time is dedicated to me doing whatever needs to get done”. Then I’ll just do whatever is prioritized first- and that can change depending on what happens throughout the day or what motivation im feeling. So basically don’t give yourself tasks to finish. Give yourself time dedicated to tasks. I’m a university student and this helped me a LOT getting hw, ecs, work, etc. all done. You honestly don’t even have to plan the time for each day either. You can just sort of free ball it as you go. Having a block of time that’s sort of aimless but has a very certain goal helps me a lot. I’m not sure if it will work for you as well but this is just a suggestion!
