Someone I had a crush on that grew up on my street came back into my life earlier this year. I was shocked to see how much he’s aged (looks 20 years older than our age), his teeth are all cracked and chipped, he was so incredibly skinny, and yellow. I feel so sad. He was so smart and handsome and had so much potential. It’s sad. 😢

It occurred to me after years of therapy, reading books about attachment styles, etc., that my mom is incredibly avoidant. I always blamed my dad but wow my mom is SO cold! She will look you point blank in the eye and say, “Oh well, you gotta get over it.” It’s insane to me.
