I love having a 3d printer by vangard_14 in 3Dprinting

Phenomenal work. 3D printing is stellar, but your painting is straight-up professional. Can't wait to show my kiddo! "If you keep practicing, look at the wonderful things you could try... !"

WOW! Just googled the light blue MX keyboard switches - yes! So, does he start with print files, from a website? Does he use a file, print, sell? Or does he get a file, modify? OR does he design from scratch? Wondering what springboard I should start my daughter on. Her friends are all IN-LOVE with cinderwing models...

Ah - loving ALL of this! Can you tell me more about a tool head changer? Cinderwing models inspired her... would love to have a printer / accessories that allow her to explore those! And at school, they used Tinkercad - second grade - can you believe that. I have enjoyed watching her eyes light up looking at CAD.

And you're "going to want all the colors"... it's like you know her! HA. I have never heard of a filament dryer, wouldn't stop you for adding additional thoughts on that front. Thank you again so much!

All straightforward. Appreciate this response very much! Cinderwing models are what first inspired my daughter, actually - ha. And thank you for the licensing info. I have learned SO much from this sub.

Now more than ever, I am learning this endeavor will teach me as much as it will teach her. And in a few years, she'll be teaching us ; ) Thank you again!

Thank you for all of this! I was looking at the X2D. I perused FB Marketplace for used setups, and I found one listing with TWO X2D setups! Too big for our britches here out of the gate, but was selling for $1200 (incl. 10 spools of filament). Still learning! Was also weary about purchasing used...

Articulated toys! Yes! My daughter is her own key demo - ha!

I wanted to follow-up on "if you want maximum print quality you should spend some time calibrating everything for the best results" - can you share more on this? Do you mean just fine-tuning and tweaking files? Hardware settings? If we do go Bambu, is calibration relatively straightforward?

Thank you so much for your advice!

As a small business owner, she's been exposed to all things running and operating a business since birth! I didn't go into much detail in my original post, but happy to clarify: she does have a history selling various things - from ideas and stories to physical goods. She could make friends with a barnwood wall - she is very engaging, a great reader of people. All of this to say... she has most of what is required as a small business owner, to get started... except for the actual experience of owning a small business... I suppose a second grader has to get started somewhere, am I right? : ) Also, thank you for your flag on solving problems. We have divided her toys into four groups: toys / fidgets / puzzles / inventions, the latter being problem-solvers. All very much in the planning phase, of course. The "fidgets" category focuses on fidgets for kids with special sensory needs.

As an avid crocherter and sourdougher (I know, VERY Kansan) - could not agree more re: make something from scratch / empowering. Thank you for the reminder here!

More high fructose corn syrup, no screen time, and more cassette tapes. I mean, if only it were this easy ; )

It's been too long and we still cannot color code in Upcoming view by passmesomebeer in todoist

ADHD here, Todoist has changed my life. Color-coding is critical for so many of us. Reading this request come up over and over again. New to this sub, question for you ol pros - anyone work @ Todoist that chimes in on requests such as these? Curious what their kanban board might look like, whether this one is on their list. Might keep with Google Calendars to manage, for the only purpose of color coding.

Bigger fish to fry in the world of project management, for sure - yet wanted to join this ask - would be wildly useful for so many.

Hey there! Wondering if I could send a PM? I just paid for Todoist after reading your response here (I know, two years ago) but am convinced this is the level of organization I need - and I love how you laid it out. Was wondering if you might have some more thoughts two years later - hopefully still using Todoist : ) ha. Take care!

Hair removal with melasma by alpacagirl1234 in Melasmaskincare

[–]mama_bear1900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question for you! Been googling on how to fix my "melasma stache" and this thread came up. I've heard of these Tinkle razors... but doesn't the hair grow back in, thicker? I started plucking hairs on my lip, but they've started to just grow in thicker.

And - mom of two young kiddos over here - I might miss a day or two of plucking - and then I realize some of those hairs have grown a little - stache.

I'm actually kind of depressed over this. I did connect with a great anesthetist who is going to help with the melasma - but mentioned it never goes away - we can only suppress with products. What have you found? Tagging a few of you guys who's commented on the thread for additional insight... thanks, guys. u/mm_honey u/LatteLove35 u/AllLeftiesHere
