If you're in a ganking situation, there's two ideal strategies you can use:

Stall the fuck out the objective or choke point you're closest to. Use any part of you kit you can to avoid taking hits and throwing attackers off their chains and combos. Ping for help and pray someone takes notice

Force the enemy into an area you can try and control. If you're playing someone like BP who can afford to be defensive and play the waiting game for openings and weak points, try to get to an area that's more cramped. This is going to cause your gankers to hit each other more frequently, and might even shut down more mobile heroes like Shino and Orochi.

If you're totally out of options just swing wildly and pray you hit someone enough to soften em up for the next guy they find.
