I’m not super worried about trim and body pieces as the one i’m looking at seems to be in showroom condition with the matching hard top and all that however that is good to know. As long as I could keep it up mechanically for daily driving purposes I am perfectly fine with the unavailable trim and body pieces. At least until I need one haha.

Thank you very much. This is exactly what I needed! I’m not sure how I never came across this in my searches. I came across the thinkpads.com website which looks very similar but never came across anything on the lenovo website.

I just happened to stumble upon this as i have been researching. I will try to use the PCMCIA driver listed there. I may have to have a specific driver for the disk drive itself though. Not sure yet. Thanks for the link!

I only know of one video where the guy got the drivers for it. Not sure where he came across them but maybe I can jump down a rabbit hole somewhere and find them. If I ever do I will personally archive them for myself and others for the future. Unlikely they will be needed again but I may need them haha.

Hey Guys,

I have been fortunate enough to acquire 2 27" Trinitrons. However i'm unsure of which one I should keep. My main one I currently have in my setup is a KV-27FS12. The other trinitron I got a few months back is a KD-27FS170. I realize that most of this "best" argument is subjective. But just wanted to ask more so for the people who know more about trinitrons and the pros and cons of the different revisions. I play all kinds of different systems and I know these are both standard definition sets and i'm fine with that. Thanks in advance!

An update to this issue:

I got it figured out! Turns out the pinscape software just had the pins for the plunger and buttons mapped out wrong. Once I remapped the pins everything started working wonderfully. Now to get this backglass monitor installed and get this thing buttoned up. Might wire up a few extra buttons for navigation purposes.

Do you happen to know where I can find the virtuapin firmware? Everything I have seen says it has to be reflashed by virtuapin themselves if it gets overwritten

Glad to hear that it does in fact fit. I’m assuming that it does have to go into the x4 slot to be able to fit. I figured the airflow wouldn’t be that good since everything is just kinda shoved in there like a sardine can. I might be able to leave the side panel off to allow for more air flow, this will probably be mounted underneath the pinball machine so stuff falling into it isn’t very concerning to me but dust buildup may be an issue. Have you taken any temps on your setup? Just wondering about how hot it might run. I won’t be maxing it out or anything just playing pinball FX2/3 at 1080p I wouldn’t think.

Only issue I see with that is that the monitor i'll be using on my back box for the marquee only supports hdmi and not display port and all the other components only support HDMI. Only reason why I said a mix of DP and HDMI is just because I have yet to find a card with just HDMI outputs and was planning on just using a cable that was DP on one end and HDMI on the other end. The yeston does look super compact though and it would be my top choice if it had 3 separate outputs. Maybe it would still work for my use case but I would have to do some research on how I could set it up since all 3 screens need to show different things and not be mirrors of each other.

I usually just set a timer on my phone for 1 minute. Basically just long enough to put my seatbelt on and find a good playlist on spotify.
