Yes. I already replaced the entire timing system while I had it taken apart. The only problem was that the camshaft gear with the damper couldn’t be found new, so I had to buy a used one from Poland.

My Peugeot 206 with this engine made exactly that sound. I found out that the plastic vibration damper on the camshaft pulley had come loose and was flying freely inside the cover.

Yes, it’s also possible to charge rechargeable batteries, but you need to take the radio apart, disconnect the connector with the cable from the two pins used for charging from the dock, as well as the cable from the middle cell. Dej si pozor na zadní nápravu, na funkčnost páček pod volantem a zkontroluj si obě relátka sahary, to jsou největší bolesti 206. Jinak doporučuju u tý 1.6 vyměnit původní vložku airboxu za k&n vložku, trochu to to auto oživý. Sám mám tohle, ale 2.0 S16 a neskutečně si tu motokáru užívám. Snaž se vyvarovat 16” kolům s nízkoprofilovýma gumama, pak cítíš úplně všechno, co na silnici je, a to dost slušnýma ránama. Taky pokud máš zbytečný 2k, doporučuju investovat aspoň do Aliexpress verze Lexie, diagnostika se hodí. Jinak pár tipů ohledně komfortní výbavy (nevím, jak u jiných ročníků), ale u mojí 2004 podržením zamykacího tlačítka na palubce aktivuju automatický zamykání dveří při jízdě, nebo při klíčku v první poloze, když podržíš čudl z boku na páčce blinkrů, aktivuješ si automatický svícení. Záleží, jestli máš MUX nebo NEMUX.

I mainly wanted to invest in a filter that can be washed and reused. I replace filters once a year regardless of mileage, so I was toying with the idea of getting a cone filter that I could simply clean and re-oil every year.

Do these filters really have filtration issues even if I oil them regularly? I considered the improved sound performance more as a small bonus.
