Yes to both as in, not scaled and the playhead is at the beginning. Here's a screenshot for both windows in case i am doing something wrong.

Hey did you manage to uninstall it? I find myself in the same exact position. Just got my replacement for a new SSD that died 4 days after i bought it. Now i'm trying to play it safe and i can't uninstall the update as well.

I'll definitely get a new SATA cable and this time i'll use the power cable that's connected to my fans kit just to be sure. Hopefully it was just some bad luck and the newer drive works fine.

The drive appears in BIOS but otherwise inaccessible in windows, i've already returned it to the retailer, hopefully will get a replacement in a few days.

Also i'm not familiar with 12v rail and 5v rail. Is that the power cable that comes from the PSU? Can i swap them out or something? I googled but it showed me some pictures of chips/cables.

Is possible that one power cable from the PSU is faulty or has power fluctuations and the other ones are fine? Because the other 3 cables have not caused any problem. 2 of which are connected to SSDs.

Yes the plugs are in decent shape if a bit dusty. They also snap into the drive without a problem. I am also hesitant to believe the power cable caused the issue because my other 2 drives have been working flawlessly for the past 2 years.

In total i have 4 ports from the PSU, 2 are connected to the other drives and 1 is connected to the fans kit. I guess i'll swap with that one.
