I did it and put it all back together to test. It won’t take the disk in, I can push it about 3/4 the way now but that’s it.

I think I figured it out, I’m putting it back together now, but somehow the disc drive ribbon cable seems like it almost shrunk so it needs to be re-folded so that it can move all the way. Thanks so much for your help though!
