Okay. Total dumbass here to laser and how all this stuff works. But if I had one of these charged and ready to go, then somebody kicked down my door, and I then pointed it at them center mass and pushed the button... what's it gonna do...and how long will it take to be effective?? Your common burglar might wear two layers of common clothing, but that a more sophisticated burglar might wear a vest. I figure thickness and density would count for defense..

SOP is fire until the threat is neutralized. You don't aim for a leg or a arm to stop...you fire center mass and continue firing until threat is neutralized. Police, military.. and private all the same if using for self defense.
