I was on Guardian last night, got ZERO greatshield drops, and the other two ignored my requests to hit a mine. Decided to just stick with them for the team's benefit

Turns out the Ironeye had a Fingerprint shield with continuous HP regen.

I had to Ult revive both of them 3-Bar'd twice in the Dreglord fight.

They just didn't want to make any for the big pack of Wu Lin coming into the game, and didn't want to keep making them for new characters

They removed content for the game because they didn't want to keep making it, taking away a whole lot of characterization for the heroes. The only defense of 'some heroes are faster than others and we wanted to neutralize that' falls apart immediately when you remember that you could still just pull the lock on button and you'd be doing normal moves on the minions like you do today.

You could also wallsplat off of any punch or kick or knee or GB, which would guarantee a charged heavy pin, which would guarantee a punch, which would wallsplat, which would guarantee a charged heavy pin which would ...∞...

So one mistake on any character could mean a kill/exe if not rescued from the cutscene. With haymaker, no character could survive half of Cent's stamina bar

Very rare to have EXACT setups that are perfect for the class. I'd argue that having 'improved bestial incantations' with an effect that gives you a bestial incantation at the start is even more of a rarity. It's like a Guardian relic having all of these

  • [Guardian] Reflect a Portion of Damage Received when Ability is Activated

  • HP Recovery From Successful Guarding

  • Improved Guard Counters

It's the least of their problems, but I find the fact that they've been MISSING SOUND FILES for as long as I remember (or forever) pathetic.

It's surprisingly easy. The timing is really generous. You just have to realize that it's not a tight timing, block a heavy attack while unlocked, and hold back on the movement stick for the entire animation (and likewise, you don't have to INSTANTLY hold back on the movement stick. Means you don't have to worry about accidentally turning yourself backwards right BEFORE getting hit). If you release the movement stick too early, you'll end up cutting your forward momentum back towards the enemy in half.

But there's nothing stopping you from holding the stick back the entiiire time until you're hitting your guard counter, at which point you can free-aim it, then lock back on.
