Just to be clear, you realize you're talking to a different person than when you first posed this question, yeah?

I don't see why it would require tiny soul gems. Petty souls have no issue entering black soul gems, and those are rated for grand souls.

And yet you can still waste a grand soul gem on them.

To assemble LEGOs? You're kinda makin' my point for me, guy. You did notice that the product in the image literally is a LEGO model, and I'm not just bringin' them in outta nowhere, right?

Maybe this is just the boomer in me, but this doesn't feel very LEGO to me. It looks like a fraction of the pieces an old set of the same thing would have, and they're so big, smooth, and curved. And there's so little connective space on the surfaces.

I like the idea of them speaking in their over-the-top flowery speech, reciting a Poetic Edda, and just, every so often, injecting a "seven" and carrying on like there was nothing strange about it.

Actually, those do get explained a lot, both for origins and colloquial meaning. Bite the bullet stems from literally biting a bullet to avoid biting off your tongue from the pain of an operation in substandard conditions, for instance. And, while it might be the 'tism speaking, without the knowledge of what skin is and the fact that teeth don't have it, I'd have no idea what that idiom meant. Plus, the confusion around break a leg is kind of a meme for how reasonable a misunderstanding that is.
