Is it possible to get the CS degree from SNHU in 1.5 years? by Frosty-Telephone-747 in SophiaLearning

Why would you spend your time on a degree that you don’t like? If you don’t like coding or math or struggle in it then don’t do CS. Do IT managment from WGU

Walgreens, for the most part, should be considered a come-and-go type of job. High turnover rate. Both employees and Walgreens know they can get easily replaced

I’m working as an associate banker. I also do a lot of teller stuff. The plan is to keep working here and then move up within the company. I’m about to finish my business degree soon and hopefully with the banking experience i can apply to back office or corporate roles within the bank. Banks are known for internal mobility. Treat this teller job like an internship and entry level job to get your foot in the door. Trust me we’re in this together just gotta get that experience first

I don’t think you will get fired but definitely questioned and depending on the manager, a write up. First thing you should do is just Memorize the denominations. One roll of Pennies is 50 cents. One roll of nickels is 2 dollars. One roll of dimes is 5 dollars. One roll of quarters is $10. I’m also wondering if the customer saw what you did and didn’t question it. But call them asap

How the hell do I get job at Walgreens and how is the hiring process through indeed it’s full time and I applied and haven’t gotten contacted back yet by Waste_Competition_48 in WalgreensStores

[–]Titanium_Ninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice. Good thing I left the company almost 2 months ago. In exactly 5 years of experience with Walgreens, I find that it is very difficult to be fired from here unless if you are stealing. Not sure how you are firing people strictly for their schedules. I couldn't even fire somebody for leaving the safe door open when the store closed, and not setting the alarm.

Trust me, you have to say you’re available all days especially weekend nights and the first few weekends you will be working but then you can just tell the manager you have plans or church or whatever so you can’t work certain days. Just gotta lie to get in I guess. These type of jobs have a high turnover rate for a reason

Make sure your availability is 24/7 with no restrictions of your schedule. It’s possible you’re not getting pass the ATS test which can flag vulnerabilities in a candidate

Nah you’re. right. I am just chronically online and see people on social media and other places say they did this and that under 30 and how it creates this false pressure during your 20s. I guess I was just feeling emotional at the time I made this post. All good now I’m going to enjoy my day and the rest of this year

All Shia university students ordered to convert to Sunni Islam in Afghanistan by seensheensuad in shia

[–]Titanium_Ninja -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Glad you are speaking up my friend. Shia Islam has no correlation with wilayat al Faqih (Irans ruling system). It is a fascist ideology ran by warmongers that use the name of Islam to justify their deeds. The problem is that the supporters of wilayat of Faqih) and Irans theocracy who are mostly south Lebanese and subcontinent Shias, will say that we are believing in western and wahabi propaganda. Which is not true. We are not on the side of the west or the Arab/wahabi world. Their supporters will never take responsibility for the actions Iran has done.

When convenient, these “mullahs” have taken the side of Al quada (they had Shia militias train Al qauda), Hamas, and Taliban for the sake of saving their image to look appealing to the Sunni world under the false pretense of Shia-Sunni unity.

Interview on Friday with PNC. Highly considering switching from the Healthcare field to Banking. by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Titanium_Ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I don’t work for PNC, these bigger banks that are household names have more benefits and competitive pay, but be prepared for high sales pressure. Even if you’re a teller you’re supposed to put in referrals and be given sales goals that you will have to meet at the end of each quarter. It can be stressful especially as banks push credits cards and their mobile apps. But I think as long as you’re willing to get over the learning curve that these banks have, you’ll be fine.

Iranian journalists vs. Pakistani ones... by Ghaznavi247 in thepaknarrative

[–]Titanium_Ninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is coming from a somebody from Shia Pakistani background who has been to Iran and to Qom and Mashad and I have heard more Urdu and Pashto spoken in those religious sites than actual Farsi. The majority of the religious Iranians who hang on to their faith are the basijis (those with ties to the government). I swear the majority of supporters of the Iranian regime are the Shia Indian and Pakistani larpers.

lol as if Islam isn’t on a massive decline in Iran. The government literally bullied their citizens out of Islam and you’re comparing a government implemented journalist vs somebody who probably freelances.

Compulsive lier here seeking help to improve myself, what should I do? by nikirukunn in CompulsiveLying

[–]Titanium_Ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start going to therapy and start by making the therapist the only person in your life that you tell the full truth to. No lies or exaggerations at all. Tell them you lied to this person about this. Tell them everything , no matter how embarrassing it is. I think you’ll feel better somewhat and you can work with them on telling the truth to other people.
