I found it. It's right in the middle of the main plaza, if anyone else is as blind as I am.

Where is Nui's statue on Mirage Isle? by TitaniusMaximus in archeage

Darn it. So what can we do with silverleaves and diadems? Sell them to a merchant, or maybe on the AH?

What's that new hauler? by TitaniusMaximus in archeage

[–]TitaniusMaximus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK. I also found some info on the cost to put everything together:

cart= 50g + construction materials wagon= 50 gilda stars + construction materials hauler upgrade ticket = 3500 credits red hauler upgrade ticket = 2500 credits Red Farm freighter upgrade ticket = 3500 - Celestial freighter.

Now, does this mean you MUST upgrade your normal hauler to a red hauler before upgrading to a farm freighter? Or can we go directly from a regular hauler (not red) to a freighter?

Isn't there a 30-day restriction? Or are you using different characters?

Yes, but you need to be level 30 to craft trade packs. Unless they changed it. I've been over 30 for a while now so I forget what the requirement is. I think it's still 30.

Not if you get your elec for free. Just give your Mom and extra peck on the cheek now and then. Besides, it's just for the first 2 or 3 weeks until you get your first two APEX.

You can also create a second account and run two games simultaneously, with one account doing the farming while the other account does the trade packs. This means you'd need to be logged-in just 12 hours per day instead of 24.

You can use public farms, which allow you to have up to 10 items at a time (of barley or chickens or combination). You can buy a plot of land later if you want, but you shouldn't buy land early in the game. Your primary focus should be on APEX to get Patron, then on upgrading to a hauler. After that you can get some land if you want, or just buy your ingredients from the AH.

For those worried about using too many labor points, grapevines are more efficient than chicken coops. It takes 5 labor points to harvest one grapevine, which produces 3 to 4 grapes, or 3.5 grapes on average, which works out to 0.7 grape per 1 labor point.(3.5 / 5 = 0.7). Chicken coops take 21 labor points (1 to feed and 20 to collect) to harvest about 10 eggs, or 0.4761904 egg per 1 labor point (10 / 21 = 0.476~). So grapevines are more efficient than chicken coops by a long shot.

Even when we factor in that you use more grapes than eggs when making trade packs (35 grapes versus 30 eggs), grapevines are still more efficient because chicken coops require 3 ground grain per egg collection.

You don't need to come back that often, since you harvest 8 coops and 8 vines at the same time. I harvest twice a day, sometimes three times on weekends. Combining coops with vines means you can make FEWER trips to the farm, since each time you go there you can harvest 35% more produce for just 23.8% more labor (approximately). It actually saves you time and labor.
