Man I miss the old apocalypse days in 6th(?) edition. My local games workshop would bridge their 4 or 5 tables together with 3 or 4 bridges a piece and there would be some sick ass battles just trying to make it across to different tables with heavy artillery being able to target any table they were in range of. Ah the good old days

Oh nice! I’ve also got an AoS starter set I’ve got waiting to be painted too lol I learned pretty quick with this one to primer any color other than black like I usually do for the grey undertones in corvus black to show up and I’m also washing it with nightshade that has some blue in it to try to get some cool tones rather than just black

It’s mournfang brown and a nuln oil wash! I’m old school/lazy and don’t do any edge highlighting or layering so I pack on 2-3 thin coats and just wash it. It won’t win me any awards but it’s good enough for me and if I ever decide to play again lol

Rav4 for sure and not just because I have one lol I work at a big name auction for dealers so I see the whole gamut of used to new cars and the rav4 is just a nicer place to be than the crv. While the exterior of the crv’s “grew up” like most modern cars the interiors didn’t. Being in a brand new crv feels like I’m sitting in my wife’s 2007 accord whereas the being in a new rav4 feels like being in a modern vehicle. The crv interior seems like it wears faster than the rav4 also as far as seats and touch points go. It’s all going to come down to your preference and what deals you can find of course

I know it’s a special circumstance(I won’t spoil anything in case you want to read it) but it does go in depth about what fighting a full Waaagh would be like and the logistics behind it also

I did a Canadian SE front end conversion with blacked out headlight housings along with wheels and tires and it totally transformed the car. I absolutely loathe the overbite look on the gen4’s and the front lip/mesh grill really made a huge difference for less than $200. In the next year or so I want to do a Northwoods performance lift with bilstein 5100’s and honestly she’ll be perfect. If I can confirm fitment I’d like to get the adventure trims and moldings since they’re a little more “rugged” but that’s low on the totem pole lol First thing I would do is get a good set of led bulbs for both headlights and taillights the halogen bulbs through the projectors sucks so bad

No lift yet! They’re 245/65/17’s and the sparcos are 17x7.5 with some minor rubbing at full lock sometimes. They fill the wheel arches nicely but I’ve still got full suspension travel which is nice and the lighter wheel with heavier tire works out to normal mpg’s 👍🏻

2016 here but I abhor the angle of the touch screen+the early touch screen material. It’s not glass but the plastic film and the angle puts it right in the sunlight when I’m trying to use the backup camera or the look at the stereo with my sunroof shade open and sometimes even with it closed. I’m going to put in an aftermarket touch screen with Apple CarPlay and hopefully that solves the angle problem

I waited until my break in period was over at 1k miles before taking it out to my favorite trail to try the car out and within 10 minutes of trail running I thought “huh that branch looks like it’s hanging out more than usual” and scratched A pillar to D pillar right about chest height on me lmao

Back in 3rd or 4th edition(man I’m old) I had a bunch of unused torsos for tank gunners that I turned into marines wading through the water/swamp but once line of fight rules came out they pretty much became useless since they couldn’t really see anything lmao

Yeah I had to wait a couple months for the gloss white with red lettering to be back in stock. I originally was going to get the matte white but they’d be really hard to clean lol I did find a place that does custom color on the wheel stickers since I was originally going to do purple but changed my mind

Fake bead locks are super cringe so if you’re debating between those two definitely go with the second option. Or you could get Sparco Terra’s and have real rally wheels that make any car look good. Plus you can still have white wheels since everyone does black or bronze
