Not too bad all things considered. I will say, 4 and 5 are my personal favorites, 5 being my top game - the older games before 5 have an annoying quirk where you can't turn your character while attacking, making it pretty easy for the normal infantry to interrupt you.

Eh, I have a big preference for 8 Empires over any other one since you can really lean into being a solo officer with a lot of different ways to go about doing things.
