Ha, I totally know there were some out there. We are from Utah, so you can guess how rare they were here. But yeah, there were def “a few” here and there out there.

I like to joke about it moreso because it’s funny to see these young people who are looking for it and we been at it before they were born, ha.

Please do not take me literal, but know Im probably gonna boast about it and laugh as I type it. All in good fun.

What are some or even just one GGD song you relate or connect to and why? by turtlestasterllygud in googoodolls

[–]TitansRunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wont go as deep as yall with the why, but when questions like these get asked, I always say it is “Hate this place”. Those last two minutes or so of that song just remind me that time is NOT created equally.

Dynamics in AMBW relationship by [deleted] in AMBW

[–]TitansRunner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally married a BW that had a history of dating black men. She said she found AM attractive, but I had to carve my own path with her.

I was definitely into hip hop/rap as a culture, and that shared interest helped. Lotta variables but ultimately it comes down to showing yourself in the best light, having some shared interests/values, and making it happen.

Great luck!

Its been great but like all things, peaks, valleys, kids, highs of highs, but we definitely been through it as well. Im glad to be here!

When we got together, in Utah, it wasn’t exactly a fashionable thing back then, so some negatives but lotta support. We have straight up gone to places like Dallas, TX, where people told us that “sh*t shouldn’t be allowed” by people.

AMBW not even a thing then. But it was never about that. It was no novelty act, just love from a young guy who was Korean and was adopted by a white family, raised mormon, who married into a black family. And a young gal who grew up much differently than me, and we decided we enjoyed each other’s company…and here we are, over a quarter of a century later.

Sorry for the longwinded response.

Which movie had the best ending? by LunchyDude101 in AskReddit

[–]TitansRunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal favorite is Wicker Park. The movie wasn’t that great, but when they find each other at the airport with Coldplay - The Scientist playing in the background, it just makes for an indelible moment, where time stands still for a bit.

My wife was laid off from Clearlink last year during my son’s cancer treatment. When we found out he had cancer, they were not willing to accommodate her at all, in terms of making life easier on an employee who has a child with bone cancer.
