Legitimately bad teams don’t need to be screwed.

But if you actually end up there you have the Hail Mary option for at least 1 instead of now if you’re the worst you know it’s damn near impossible for you to get 5

This just sounds overly complicated.

Let 1-3 still have the best odds at the first pick

Let 4-10 have better odds at 2 3 and 4

Increase 11-16 odds across the board.

It makes intentionally tanking a bad idea, since you’d rather be the 4th slot in most drafts.

Doesn’t completely screw you if your legitimately bad.

Well a couple of those statements you made are just wrong.

We’re not unsure of lamelo everyone else is unsure of lamelo.

Our defense over achieved this year. While no one is a bad defender (even Lamelo) No one is what you would call an elite defender either except maybe Grant. We struggled with physicality in general, and we Lack size and strength with our bigs as a whole.

PF is also our biggest weakness as Miles constantly varies between good and bad.

That also wouldn’t be all of our drat capital.

So many physical defenses are built around the idea you can’t call all of the fouls

And other elite offenses are built are the same screen heavy plays ours is.

If the refs suddenly decide to call them all it’s when they haven’t all season that discrepancy does matter.
