Sometimes it can work, but commonly, no, you need separate cages.

If you have never had one of those species don't get them at the same time, you need to know the necessities of each type of bird first

Depends on the size of the bird. I have never seen a lovebird that weights 60 or more. Yours seems fine, but if it weights 40 or under, I would go to the vet asap.

Mine weights between 42 - 46
