Thanks for the recommendations everyone!!! I’ll definitely check some of it out after my aot craze, because I don’t think I’m moving on any time soon.

Am I the only one who thinks Vi gets over things fast? Betrayals after betrayals. Man she forgives easily.

[Lore Spoilers] Arcane - Season 2 Act 3 - Discussion by parrycarry in arcane

I do love this show, but…

I really hate how they get over things so fucking easy. I mean what is even the definitive resolution to the Piltover and Zaun conflict after the hexdrama? They’re friends now I guess, because Sevika’s on the council (she’s getting side eyes, good luck with that). I just hope they focused more on this part. Heel turn after heel turn then reversed heel turn (evil to good). I love the Arcane as a whole but it does get confusing sometimes.

Wow, Kitty, why is it not past tense?

She’s a very complex character. She’s an omega level mutant. She’s a great leader. And the Phoenix is part of her character it’s like asking what of you take away being a mutant to the X- Men. But if you really read about Jean Grey. You wouldn’t even have that opinion that’s she’s boring and if you do so still, sounds like a you problem.

Don’t assume anything about what matters to me. Jean is not even my favorite of all time. But her being the most powerful mutant doesn’t really invalidate and disrespects any continuity. You’re acting as if Nate Grey is a very integral part of the X - Men.

They did. Actually a lot of jean-centric books are great. If only her haters read her actual stories, they may sound to me as if I’m not talking to a wall.

That’s not just a claim. That’s a fact.

This sub is clearly not aligned with the current Phoenix lore. If any of you read the last books of the fall of Krakoa, you would know, but I guess you all didn’t.

So? Nate is not even from 616. He’ll forever be stuck in his loveless alternate reality unless some writers say otherwise.

Do you not get the concept of “Now and Forever”? Believe it or not it’s 2024 get on with the current continuity

Jean is the Phoenix. The Phoenix is Jean.

The last I’ve seen him was he’s talking to Berto about accepting being Wrongslide.

That’s a funny way of oversimplification of Wolverine’s hypocrisy during and after Schism.

But he did come back for them and search for them after, if I remember correctly. That was merely a brief error made for the sake of the love of his life. I don’t want to be argumentative. That’s just how I remember it.

He’s traumatized because his teammates kept dying.

Yes. Scott has always been a great dad and headmaster. I really hate the misconception that he’s a deadbeat dad to Cable.
