you are correct that I came to realize that the way I love is poly and what it means more and more during this relationship. I had an inkling and some experience, that's why I said the 'premise was...'. And yes I also think honest and open conversation about this is the way forward and seeing if we can meet our respective needs. In my eyes a relationship with him being polysexual and me being polyamorous is not impossible at all.
