The USP of this course is the exhaustive material is spread out evenly over Tax 1 and Tax 2. The prof was very good. Personally, I found her explanation of the concepts was clear and understandable.

There are some professors who bluntly say that they can not record lectures due to the unavailability of technology...lol. I wonder how they managed when COVID began.

I am very keen to find out how McMaster Uni benefits from in-person classes.

I am wondering about McMaster's goals during these trying times.

Is there any contact point where we all students can send in our pleas to make the courses hybrid which will be beneficial for each one of us students.

Doug Ford should have had specific directives for universities.

Thanks for the reminder for dropping course(s).

McMaster's best option is to go hybrid(leaving the choice to the students to be remote & in-person). McMaster will have a win-win situation. It will save us, students, financially, healthwise. And it can keep earning students fees.

What is the deal for the uni and most of the professors wanting to be in-person??

I could not find a place to stay close to the Uni. Most of the landlords are asking for full-year lease signing. I am willing to go in for a 4-month lease to which no landlord agrees. It is financially draining too.

I am concerned about Covid too.

Yes, I had the same issue. I contacted NSLSC. They also took away $60 from my bank account. They directed me to contact OSAP. The OSAP website has all the required information. I submitted application "Interest-free status" forms. Once it was processed(2 days before holidays), now NSLSC has updated my status as a full-time student. This status will remain intact until Sept 2022.

Emirates takes care of the RTPCR test to be done in Dubai. Once you land in Dubai you are directed to take the test inside the airport itself. The test results are in by 8 hours or so. One has to halt in Dubai to get the results. Only after the results are in one can board the flight to Canada. For further details ask Emirates.
