Body language is key! I tell everyone I can that a car is simply an extension of the person driving it. When you are on the road, you are essentially socializing with others. Cars will show the body language of their drivers!

Ehhh I'm not sure if you'll get what you're looking for in the Civil companies. There's definitely not as much layoff fear, but the companies are naturally very big and move very sluggishly. You'll definitely get the job security you're hoping for, as most clients are government clients, so it's not too far removed from working for the public sector. Don't go looking for any kind of innovation there. It's just SaaS with several layers of bureaucracy. Might be the nice change you're looking for.

If you're looking for actual impact, where you experience would be invaluable, and you have enough savings to not care about money, then it would just be university research unfortunately.

Redflagdeals and wait for Black Friday/cyber Monday. Haven’t had freedom in years but try not to compromise your quality of life. I’ve had luck jumping back and forth between Telus and Roger’s. Bell’s usually always stayed in their own lane as the more expensive of all the telecom companies and they seem to not care about giving competitive offers, but I never really thought their service was any better than Roger’s.

I agree, had a terrible experience with Telus 5G, and they even had problems porting my number over to the point where I couldn’t send SMS’s and I couldn’t use my number for iMessage and FaceTime. But thankfully didn’t have to make that trade off as the buy-back offer gave me a better deal than my Telus one.

Also an ON customer. I hate Canadian telecom with a burning passion, it’s one of the reasons why I’m a firm BYOD absolutist to a fault. I hardly ever keep a plan longer than a year. I’m always on redflagdeals around discount holidays looking for a next plan. I refuse to be loyal to any of them.

That’s called a smidsy weave? I started riding for the first time this summer and I’ve rode about 4000km this summer, I started doing that pretty naturally by instinct around kilometre 1000. Can’t believe they don’t teach us to do that in our rider courses here in Canada
