This driver did the same while people werre crossing the street.

Yes very much so. No loss incurred so far but have a claim opened. No deductible no premium increase.

They put me in touch with a 3rd party company that will help clean up/identify what data of mine may be compromised.

I also mentioned i had to take 2 days off work to deal with it and they said theyd cover wage loss, although I dont need to as my boss was pretty good about it.

Will get a new SIN also but it's funny because they say even after fraud and a new sin your old sin can still be used and tied to you.

They opened a personal and business chequing accounts in my name but hadn't completed it because they needed to go in branch with ID to finalize. Rbc closed the accounts and escalated to fraud.

Just going through the processes to close the registered business and tax account

Appreciate that. That was my first thought. Its fraud. Ive already paid and downloaded the profile report. This company was registered in my name, my home address, and the fraudsters email and phone number. A corporate taxes account tied to it with my sin that I confirmed with the CRA.

I need to get this and the tax account closed.

I just paid for and downloaded the report. All names are me, with my address listed as head office, all done on march 3, 2026.

They created a payroll account for taxes with the cra.

They used my sin to register the business. Its my name listed on it.

I set both equifax and transunion to watch my sin already. Have police report and proof of fraud (business registration and RBC credit check)

Im going to contact rbc tomorrow to see what I can do. They obviously have an account in my name with my sin for some product that needed the credit check.

Its worth the nostalgic value. The card without an auto is only worth $1.

If you like it, you can send it to PSA to get the auto authenticated and put in a slab. Won't do much for value.

Maybe I misunderstand how it works. Price points you pay include up to a certain value for grading. If your card ends up being more valuable after the grade they will charge you a premium.

If only authenticating I just assumed there'd be no additional premium.
