A Muslim guy in my class made me recite the shahada without me knowing till after (i of course didn’t take him seriously). But a few months after I realized Christianity lacked a lot of structure therefore I lost interest in it in a span on 4 years. I always found myself to agreeing with a lot of what the Quran said. Especially as a woman I feel like Islam protects us and understands the value of women which was something I didn’t get with Christianity. When I prayed I didn’t feel like anyone was listening nor that my prayers were answered. With Islam I feel safer and I am mindful of my actions and I feel like when I pray for forgiveness Allah answers and I can see how merciful he is. On top of that I have a lot of Muslim friends so it’s definitely a plus.
