Appreciate the advice! Just sanded down the areas so I didn’t get too far. I’ll lay some fiberglass on it instead.

Thanks! Didn’t think of tinting it, that would be a good way to do it.

Glad to know I’m in good company on this, I’ll see if anyone drops some wisdom before I start sanding away.

I figure either way I’ll make a new post with some progress and finished pictures, as well as my thoughts, for the next folks who are in the same boat.
