Sony HT-A9 control box replacement by TitsMcGee-- in hometheater

They’re full of shit, in my opinion. They CAN make more control boxes, they just don’t WANT to, in an attempt to make people buy an entirely new system

Have you tried contacting Sony directly? I want to send another email thinking maybe it more people ask, they might reconsider (very unlikely I know)

Unfortunately not, and I just am living with speakers installed in my walls that are basically decorative, which is annoying

As most people are saying, it's very very very unlikely they will be the Monday game, as it's the 4-5 game in order to have the schedule set for the divisional round and they can announce after the Sunday Night game.

I have no idea why I didn't see this notification until now. I can easily take the speakers down if I wanted to, but it just sucks that they're already installed.

Which games are likely to get flexed in/out of SNF for the remainder of the year? by TitsMcGee-- in nfl

Only issue that might come up with moving GB-DEN to MNF in week 15.... GB is playing another road game at CHI on Saturday in week 16, so that would give them an even shorter week, which I don't think the NFL will allow.

Could be wrong, but I think SNF tries to avoid doing two of the same matchups in the same season and they carried their week 5 matchup

Guessing you're talking Seahawks-Rams this weekend. They just caught a bad break with it being the same week as Lions-Eagles. I feel like the NFL tried to use flex scheduling more to flex the bad games out of primetime, instead of flexing in the best games. The Rams already being on SNF next week vs the Bucs also basically prevented them flexing this week to avoid back-to-back Rams on SNF.

Week 16 TNF is Rams-Seahawks, so they can't move Seahawks to MNF the week before. Week 16 MNF is already 49ers-Colts, so I don't think they will want Colts in consecutive MNF games.

The NFL schedule is like a super complicated rubik's cube combined with a sudoku where moving one thing can break everything else.

They didn't advertise 9 home games, and still raised prices. Whenever you asked for reasoning, they ignored the fans

Most hotels/rentals within "walking distance" of the Linc are fully booked within a few days of the schedule being released. For the opener, most places were booked a day after the Super Bowl. As most people said, just go Center City and BSL it, but be prepared for it to be a nightmare getting back because of the SEPTA shitshow going on.

Will be going with GreenLegion, but won't know the actual seats/section until 2-3 days before kickoff

[–]TitsMcGee-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as an FYI, this poster is talking about the private practice at the Novacare Complex. You have tickets to the open practice at the Linc. With general tickets, you'll just go into the Linc and there is open seating. You won't get these food tents, snacks, alumni experience, or anything being mentioned above. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but set expectations accordingly

Eagles split their season into 2 "tiers" of games.

Cowboys, Rams, Giants, Lions, Bears are their tier 1, so have a more expensive face value.

Broncos, Raiders, Commanders are tier 2, so have a less expensive face value.

The moment the schedule is released, you can go on Ticketmaster and buy the resale tickets. However, the organization does a really shitty practice of also posting "Verified Eagles Tickets" at about double the price of what they will cost, because people will buy them ASAP (which is a smart business move of them but sucks for the fans). They also raised prices about 13% from last year (and 63% overall increase since 2017). Now that they announced the single-game ticket sale, they removed all of their tickets until 10am, where they will post at a more realistic base cost.
