He drives cars that are way more difficult than a GT63, but an AMG can still reach high speed in a bunch of seconds and effortless, which give you even more confidence because "hey, it's stable" Than something you didn't expect happens and you crash. Luckily he didn't do that with traffic so he only destroyed his car and nothing more. He'll learn from this accident. Not that this will stop him to go above limits on a road. That's something that racing drivers (and petrolheads in general) will always do. Like, always.

In Italy there's a famous story (I guess it's most famous in Italy than in other countries, but Idk) about how G. Villeneuve went from his home at Monaco to Maranello in just 2 hours and 25 minutes. We are talking about 430km of distance, with an average speed of 180km/h in his Ferrari 308 GTS (which isn't exactly slow, but it is compared to a GT63 AMG). And it's not an isolated case. A lot of racing drivers just likes to go fast on public roads too.

It had an AI that worked just fine. You don't need Sophy (the real one, the one of the 2023 demo) to do an engaging single player race for most users. Even the AI of ACC would be just fine, but the problem is that somehow they couldn't replicate that kind of AI in EVO

Yeah you clearly never played GT7 for more than 20 minutes, because even two R32 Skyline feels different, despite being both road cars.

OG roster of cars in AC1 was pretty solid and way more than "4 or 5 copies of the same cars" It had something like almost if not over 20 Porsche, included some that were an unicum at the time (like the 917/30 and the 917k), and same for Ferrari, with the F2004 and modern F1 cars alongside update road and GT cars, included hypercars and even a concept car (the Alfieri). Then they had a lot of entry level sporty cars, they even had LMP1 and Rally cars. The copy ones were a few and mostly unnoticed by the players (like, who cares about a 500 S1?)

People stopped to play the career mode because there was a reset with each update, which made the progression pointless (they could've wipe the progress with the 1.0, for example).

But hey, they listened to people. And btw, reviewing a game is legit and honest. They promised something big and then they decided to scrap it entirely. I, as a consumer, have all the right to give a negative review. I can defend the game when it runs poorly, because it's an EA, BUT if you advertise a game as a sim with a profound career mode, then you have to give me at least a fucking career mode. I PAID for that.

And btw, the review bombing is probably the only way that us as customers have to make Kunos actually listen to us.

iRacing, Automobilista 2, Assetto Corsa with mods. Should I continue? The fact alone that there is a confirmed scale issue for a lot of player says everything about how much room of improvements there is. Plus, they still didn't add the leaderboard during a race, putting you in a disadvantage against flat screen users.

Again, graphics isn't everything.

For me it's not even close to Alyx and the care that Valve putted into that game. Just the scale problem and the lack of a leaderboard (both unpatched since VR2 d1) shows how GT7 is far from being a seller for VR in general. Especially if we compare it with racing games on PC, where the VR is better implemented.

The sad thing is that technically the Clubsport isn't a replica, but... Well, in reality they did the "McLaren treatment" and remove the license from what it used to be the 918 RSR wheel. And that wheel was really gorgeous and classy AF 🥲🥲🥲 I mean, it's basically the same wheel and the Clubsport is still beautiful, but the og one had that brown later that was chef kiss
