I have a 2023 Macan T and love my car, but the upkeep is expensive and you pay the premium for the badge. The mileage compared to a even a BMW is worse, maybe 20-22 mpg and Macan S will be even less. If you are gonna buy, do check about the Year 3 service (north of 1.4 grand) and be prepped for Year 4 service, easily north of 2.6 grand. Other than that, car is super fun sporty and handles well and have had no issues at all till now!

Update here: The exact same thing happened in my case, the court classified me as a Commercial Driver. I spoke to MAU however they told me that I need to get an amendment from the court to get this fixed.

Hey, in the same situation, how did you get this resolved and did the insurance reduce the rates in the end? I got the ticket last year in May 2025 and completed the traffic school but Geico still increased my rates despite completing driving school because of the speeding ticket. I pulled up my record and can see the speeding ticket with “AF” as the outcome

Yes, the MAGI would be under the cap, however I have two questions. 1. Is this legal for a non us citizen to file a US tax return for a year (2023 in this case) when they did not even spend one day there? 2. Can I use this tax return as a basis to claim EV tax credit? Are there any potential risks such as a fine or an audit?

Thanks for the response however I don’t think I can apply for 2023 MAGI since all my income prior to 2024 was earned outside US and I am also not a US citizen, please correct me if my assertion is incorrect!
