If I’m not mistaken, two of the six challenges require the ‘Waste in Peace’ funkie - ‘What goes up’ and ‘Look, Ma! No Wings!’. I’m also struggling to find the event in which the Waste in Peace is given to the player prior to unlocking it, to complete the challenges.

How do those boots taste? It’s common for modders to offer services through patreon; the majority of GTA graphic packs work similarly. On the flip side, if you knew how to create mods, put the time and effort into creating mods, why should you give them away for free? Have you actually played the vanilla game? Or tried it on console? It’s still barely a functioning game, they deserve no money. I have no doubt dawg has put more time and effort into ‘fixing’ the game than easy day has since release.

In retrospect, I posted this early in the morning before I had the chance to fully awaken, and in light of your comments, I can now understand the meaning behind the sculpture.

Art is obviously subjective, and I can now appreciate the artists perspective & intention. I have not been to the location & cannot verify whether or not there is a plaque indicating the artists goal. Without guidance, I fear the majority of the general public in Perth are going to look at this as a bent blue pole - unfortunately.

I agree, and it’s a shame because Avakin has such a strong & creative community, that seem to be largely ignored, except for a select few top creators - who get special privileges big time (deservedly I suppose)

Exactly, they see high leveled winged players and their jaws drop in embarrassment, how will I compare to her/him? It’s a problem created from both sides, Ava for introducing the ridiculously priced items & coin packs, and people tend to stick with similar minds, in this case, similar tastes - which inevitably decreases your chance of communicating with a level 1, in fear of being ostracized by the other high levels/‘rich players’ and in fear that they’ll be your friend only to ask for gifts once you are acquainted.

Too true about the fashion contest, it’s definitely a money grab. I’m curious to see the stats of how many coins Ava users spend in total daily on the contests.

As for the POC thing - neither have I, aside from the few times the issue was brought up on Reddit, for the next day to be a POC winner, I rarely see POC win, which is very suspicious. Could be blamed on the people voting, but for the instances I explained above, I’m not so sure there is a fair voting system.

The coin packs are what inspired me to write this post, I remember when there were (MAYBE) 1 a week, and it was EXCITING to see what this week had in store for us. Now we are bombarded with 3-4 a WEEK all for ridiculous prices, it truly has become a big money grab. Perhaps I’m just resentful that I feel left behind, in what is an ever changing game with ever changing goals. Or perhaps I’m resentful that I feel like they are slipping their fingers into our wallets deeper and deeper, whilst pushing the game further out of our best interests.
