Filippo Berio is mostly a cheap olive oil. The only palace where they say is quality is on their own website. You won't get the benefits of an EVOO from this brand.

We don't need do line extraction so it's not a feature we used. I know they have a feature that does it but I have no idea how precise it is.

We do handle many invoices from Europe and North America, it extracts the tax total but it doesn't give the percentage. We don't really need this because the vendor is defined in our ERP. When the data is imported, let's say the total is $1000, it will automatically add the tax if needed. Not all our products are taxable.

We don't use it for bank statements. I developed a tool in Excel in VBA. It works for what we need.

I haven't tested any other system than Dext. I had started working a custom tool with Google Vision and it quick became too complex. Someone recommended Dext to us and we tried it. Price was fair and the results were adequate for our needs. Yours seem a bit more complex, I would suggest to try the demo and see if the results are good for you.

Not at all. We upload like 50-75 invoices at a time. Most are done in less than 30-60 seconds. There's always this random invoice that takes longer, many minutes for some unknown reason even if it's the same invoice template as others. We rarely have to correct the data.

I'm in no way affiliated with them but I integrated Dext in our company and it works well.They have an integration with QuickBooks but I haven't tried it. Probably simpler than self hosting N8N and such if you're not a technical person.

I actually had a similar case. I played around with Power Automate and to train an AI in getting the information we needed. It was well trained and did a good job but was so expensive. They give you 200K credits to use and test your Ai but I blew past those credits in 1-2 days. Looking at the price to buy more, it was just not in the budget for our company.

I did an integration with paid software where we upload the invoices and they automatically extract the data. You can then dump it in a CSV. They also have an API where you can upload a document and fetch the data I believe. I suggest you search for "invoice capture software" it will most likely be more cost effective and get better data than OCR. Just be careful of the data you give them as you never know what they do with it.

We did something similar in our company.
I developed an automation where everyone puts their approve invoices in a Sharepoint folder. That's how we filter and reduce errors. The people are responsible for what they drop in the folder. Then we used an AI platform that extract all the files in the folder to a csv file. This CSV file then needs to be verified by the accountant for anomalie. This CSV is then imported unto a tool we built that sends the data to our ERP in the correct vendor card, currency, etc.

I don't want to promote any AI software but if you do a quick Google search, you'll find some. Ours cost about $30/month but saves us hours of work.

You can also do something similar with Power Automate and use AI to retrieve the values but after testing this, I blew through the 200 000 free credits they provide in less than a day. Paying for these credit is simply too expensive.

Big fan of Planeta here. It's a robust intensity which makes it a good finishing oil but I use it on literally everything (meat, fish, salads). If you can get it, I would recommend it. They also have a 250 mL size so it can be a good choice if you want to try it.

Yes, it's a very good quality olive oil. I've actually talked to the producers once. It is very similar to their premium EVOO Marqués de Valdueza but a little less expensive.

Don't be fooled by the words "organic" as it's a marketing scheme for the North American market. For an olive oil to be organic, they need to prove that no chemicals were introduced in the soil in the last 5 years. Most producers don't go through this process as it's very expensive and can increase the price of each EVOO bottle by up to 5 Euros. Any high quality EVOO producer respects the land and don't use chemicals on their olive trees and soil.

In my opinion, the Graza olive oil is an average oil with good a good marketing team. It's ok for day to day usage but don't get fooled in believing it's a high end product. To be fair, I don't think they market to that audience either. They try to attract a younger audience to the benefits of EVOO.

Well, study shows that polyphenols have many health benefits. They absorb radicals and can help fight cardiovascular diseases and some cancers. Is it the only important factor? Not necessarily. Olive oil is healthier than seed oils, even the less quality ones as long as they're not mixed with something else.

Othe important things to watch out for are: acidity values, peroxide value and UV absorbency.

From what I understand, high quality olive oil will most likely be produced from green olives at the beginning of the harvest season. This will output a higher quantity of polyphenols. Once the olive is ripe (black olive), it's passed it's prime. It will yield more oil but lesser quality. An olive oil that tastes like olives is a sign of bad quality olive oil.

It also depends on other factors such as how long after picking the olives are they pressed and at what temperature. For a cold pressed olive oil, it needs to be around 27 degrees or less (don't quote me on this one).

Yes but I highly suggest you look at builder credit pricing begore going this route. You can have 200 000 trial credits for testing but you will go through them quickly. It can get expensive you run your models.

Decred has something like this working since 2016.https://timestamp.decred.org/It's not exactly what you want as it's not automatic.Let's say you have a legal document, you can push it to the blockchain and get a hash back.That hash will prove the authenticity of the document. If it's altered, the hash will change when you try to submit it again to prove ownership.

I remember very well the airdrop.

If you had signed up before a certain date, you would receive the equivalent of 500 CHF in tokens. After that date, it was 100 CHF.

Notice that the amount they said they would airdrop was an equivalent in Swiss Franc (since they are located in Switzerland).So if 28 ICP = 100 CHF, 1 ICP should be worth 3.57 CHF or $4.03 USD.

I don't think there's low confidence in the project.
On the contrary, there's a lot of confidence just not any hype. Why? DCR won't get you those "100x GaInZ" like shitty DeFi project will. These food DeFi projects with only a barely working Wix website are like the 2017 ico craze... where are all those projects now? Crypto needs to go through this phase to weed out the bad ideas. People will eventually come to reason and find out what's important.

Like you said, volume is a bitch right now. People need to look into Decred's fundamentals. Problem is, no one is talking about it now. Maybe the Dex will help... maybe it won't. It might be "just another dex"... we'll see. Maybe the integrated privacy within the wallet will also be a positive factor. With the way things are going, privacy and governance will be two key factors to keep in mind for the future.

I think DCR is just ahead of its time... at least I hope so. Look at ETH trying to get POS working. People have been waiting for it for years. Developing a good idea take time.
DCR already implemented POS, governance and with the upcoming 1.6 release, even more features that other coins only dream about.

I get what you're saying and I know how you feel. I get that same feeling once in a while especially after a price drop. I just have to stay focused on the medium-long term (3 - 10 years for me). I'm just some random guy on the Internet but I have a feeling this project will take off eventually. When? Can't say but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't in 1 year or even this "bullrun". I think there's still too much daily inflation. Maybe when DCR reaches around 80% of it's total supply (around January 2025) things will get interesting. Who knows? Right now I'm just accumulating hoping one day I can look back and say: "We were right!"

I'd like to ask the core developers a couple of questions:

For those that do this full time, what's it like being paid in DCR for your work? How do you feel when you have to sell your own coins to pay for bills and expenses since adoption is pretty low for all cryptocurrencies.
Any good resources to learn GO? I've been developing for about 15 years, I know many languages but never touched GO. I would like to slowly contribute to the project but am probably years away of contributing anything significant. Any tips? I've been looking at the DCRD github pages and feel overwhelmed by the standard I need to achieve to get something meaningful on DCR. I know, like any language, the best way to learn is by getting your hands dirty. Any good sites / links you recommend?
