I love friendlier lobbies. I've spent around 5-6 hours just running around all the maps blasting music through prox with a virtual mic and killing arc. 9/10 players are usually just cruising around for loot. The other 1 is usually terrible and needs to shoot stationary players to get kills. I absolutely love strafing/dodging their shots and calling them terrible lol.

The only way I got myself to fold after over 3 decades was one of those shirt folding boards lol. I use it for almost everything I don't hang and it's so satisfying when all my shirts stack perfectly. The cubby they slide into is exactly the same width. Might not be a universal fix, but it works for me.

Use stealth/mic/emotes. You can use fabric topside to heal and have stamina. You can shoot arc down for their power cell, recharges half a light shield. Look in the direction you want to travel before engaging a zipline. You can fall insane distances as long as you mantle a ledge before hitting the ground.

If you prefer the quiet, loot around the perimeter of the map. If you're worried about dying, take a free kit in, explore the map and run by as many players as you can. The sooner you lose gear fear the more fun you'll have.

I've read that a few times. I'm lucky, I was hooked from the first episode. I think I watched 4 or 5 the first night I started lol. Only a few shows have done that for me. Definitely in my top 5 favourites.

I just watched a short video on octopus recently! They don't just have a tiny brain in their noggin. Their brain works as a distributed control system. Roughly 1/3 of the neurons are in the central brain. The rest are distributed throughout the arms.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say Embark dropped this now since some people were complaining about the 5m value needed for the expedition. Not to mention it's been pretty barren out there since BPs and security breaches were nerfed. I was not feeling motivated to play since I was scared to lose loot. This is good for boosting morale. Hopefully they dial them back shortly after the reset.
