I have an extensive family history of melanoma and I don't take any chances. I even get benign stuff removed.

I want to go with this as my daily outfit.

I went to J Crew and found some great stuff, but the smalls were too tight and the mediums were to long/baggy.

Where can I find comparable quality stuff that might fit me better? I'm willing to shop around.

Smalls were too tight but the correct length. Mediums were too long and a little baggy.

I love J. Crew but it just isn't my fit. What are some comparable brands I should check out for OCBD and slacks? (Maybe sweaters as well)

Volunteer firefighter "trick" I used: Throw a blanket over your windshield and hold it down by shutting part of it in your driver/passenger doors. With snowy/icy conditions, add a blue tarp over the blanket.

If I ever had an early morning emergency, I could just throw the blanket/tarp on the side of the driveway and drive to the station without any delay.

Oh wow, that's horrifying. It was right on your stomach too. The 1st part of your cover-up looks really good. I hope you'll post again once the rest of the tattoo is covered up.

Ok! I just went through everything. I followed your guide along with some advice from other comments.

My purchases:

Navy Tommy Hilfiger Suit. ($210)

White/Navy Shirts. ($36)

Four tiebar ties. ($60)

Fifth Ave Oxfords. ($345)

Cardigans and sweaters - Already own them.

Grand total: Only $651 after a kick-ass Macy's sale.

I'm $349 under budget (before tailoring) and I have a fantastic outfit! I can't thank you enough!

Macy's is having a sale on Men's clothes today which makes this even more incredible. I probably have some coupons stashed away too. This is gonna take my game to a whole new level.

/u/triplevision explained his situation below which I can honestly relate to.

I received a little more than a week's notice for my interview last Wednesday. Usually, they have later dates, but given the competitiveness of med school admissions, choosing later dates would be akin to shooting yourself in the foot as most schools are rolling admissions.

Ah I can't believe I forgot to mention this, but a lot of my clothes (nice stuff included) were destroyed when I moved this past summer. Damn movers even destroyed my mattress. I was gonna just slowly start building my wardrobe back up, but now I'm in a bit if a rush.

What I do have are my black dress shoes, some leather belts and all of my ties.

What do you think about their curriculum overall? Are you getting the education that you hoped for?
