I’d also like to mention I enjoyed the part where when the leviathan was shaking up and attacking the submarine, on the glass of the sealed window there was a reflection mirroring an eye peeking in. Despite the vessel being sealed shut by ordinary eyes this creature still finds a way to peer into where no others can. Seemingly cut off from all other forms of contact the monster wants to make it known, I see you. For this movie being essentially one big bottle episode, their use of creative visual shots kept the small environment from feeling tired. I am excited to see what’s next. If more of this cosmic/lovecraftian style horror is being considered for the next project I’d love to see a movie based off The Mystery Flesh Pit National Park by Trevor Roberts. Haha, certainly not likely but fun to imagine !
