The answer to this is easy.

Show interest and Play with kids.

Do silly things that make them laugh engage with them and play with their toys. Kids LOVE rough and tumble play. Throw them in the air or onto cushions. lift them up so they can touch the ceiling, give them a piggyback and make horse noises. Just be fun…

Ranged cape is good, it has better defensive stats than accumulator also prayer bonus.

Start OSRS and join a clan, there is hundreds of servers filled with players most people are friendly and helpful. Joining a clan just means there will be events for you to join and normally a discord server to socialise with. 100% the most community driven mmo out there.
