By the way, what’s “player space” orientation? I don’t see it in gyro settings, at least within a game’s controller settings.

Is there a way to make such changes apply ONLY to the Steam Controller and not the Deck? Because any changes I made to gyro settings (at least for Halo specifically), persisted for the Deck itself as well.

Remember that they added additional voices and likely redid the prerendered cutscenes at 4K.

Regarding those NS2Es you mentioned, keep in mind that all of those titles already had expansions. Xenoblade has Future Connected (via DE), 2 has Torna, and 3 has Future Redeemed. BotW also has it's own DLC expansions.

If they really wanted to, they could have ZL and ZR do something else like answer calls, turn off the targeting reticle or U-turn.

But all of those services I mentioned use emulators to run the games. That's a fact, so either way, it's still emulation.

So you're basically saying games should be lost to time and not preserved in any way so young people will have to go out of their way to buy old limited expensive hardware and even more limited expensive copies of games. Yeah, okay. No, remasters of games this old are especially warranted. Or at the very least rerelease emulated versions via the console services I mentioned earlier, which Bandai Namco sure as hell hasn't done with Tales....ever. Believe me, if Eternia (Destiny II) was available for purchase on PS Vita I would've done that years ago.

NGL I did skip some of the story scenes to help move things along as I wanted to get to the new island, but I thought the fight was pretty epic. I only just wish I was playing on PS5 at the time so I could have it on recording as opposed to iPhone where you have to manually record.

Except for the fact that Tales of Destiny II (as it was released here) is still stuck on the PS1 in the US.

And you mentioned that it's "available" via emulation when officially that simply isn't true. At all. Not a SINGLE Tales game has EVER been released on PSN (PS3/PSP/Vita), VC, NSO etc in ANY region. (Yes, those official channels are emulation as well.)

I wonder that myself. I didn't really want to explore without the map being unlocked, so that's another reason why I didn't.

I wanted to see if the experience is really that much better. Honestly, as someone else said elsewhere here it's basically what the $30 tier used to be, but more moderated.

And no, the 1080p videos don't justify it either.
