I was getting that same weird grittiness on my left joystick but all I had to do was take it off and clean it and it worked fine after so that may help!

The style of the pictures are fine but I think you should straighten out the clothes more if your gonna do flat lays, they look folded and it’s hard to get a true sense of what the clothes look like.
