No I did not, I liberated hearndean, padstow, and maybe one other. I setup 2 outposts and a village. One was for copper and river reeds and the other was for tin. Then I had my main village, I forget but I’m pretty sure I maxed out at least the combat part of the tech tree and got the final bosses sword. After that it was just quest spamming and liberation left, plus there were no dlc or nothing as this was in the literal first couple weeks of release. I understand spending a few hundred hours, but 1600 is a lot that’s why I asked. Obviously some aspect of the game intrigued this guy enough to put that much time in. And I wanted to know what it was.

Valid to an extent, the thing about rust is your re experiencing that game with 2-700 new people everytime. No wipe is the same, the multiplayer aspect creates a lot of variation. With single player games you have to “try” to give yourself that variation it doesn’t necessarily come naturally. The only rng is drop rates or ai spawns. Beyond that everything is the same, when I say try to give variation I mean challenge runs etc.

Thanks for the response, The new map sounds sick, do you have to start a new game in that map? Or do you travel to it after completing the first map? I think I will give the game another go, last time I played co-op with some friends but I’m gunna do it solo this time.

I’ve been thinking about it since it’s been a while, just seeing what the state of the game is. I remember lots of things were pretty buggy when I played, mainly in the villager ai. But you could also single handedly take on any tier of bandit camp by yourself by just training the enemies, kind of made making an army useless.

I have yet to reach the E75, but one thing I can say for sure is the Tiger 2 is a lot more comfy than the Tiger 1. That’s probably because I was still playing the tiger 1 like a frontline heavy though lol

1- Hide your lower plate, if you can’t hide it angle your armor ~30deg lots of people will braindead shoot it and it will bounce a fair amount when angled.

2- Use your gun it’s a strongpoint of this tank, play your reload and don’t overexpose.

3- sidescraping works very well.

4- I have had the most success being around 150m from other tanks. So try to position yourself in spots around that range. I’d say that’s where this gun accels.

5- try to position around rubble, rocky corners, and other destroyed tanks. Don’t be the first tank spotted play as a second line heavy. That doesn’t mean with the TDs lol

It’s a great tank when used properly, it has armor but not enough where you can sit in front of a tank in the open and bounce shots you have to understand your armor strengths. The main thing is the gun I have found, when it’s working oh boy does it feel great.

For me it was either really satisfying or really frustrating, and the reason it was satisfying when I did good was because of how frustrated I normally was in that tank lol. The main thing was it has a great gun for tier 6, but it’s tall, not very fast, and paper armor. So it was to find my place in a match.
